Golf is booming nationwide as the world gained a renewed appreciation for the sport during the pandemic. According to the National Golf Foundation, 37.5 million golfers hit the fairways in 2021, with over 3.2 million new players joining the game. Additionally, the rise of Top Golf, Pop Stroke, and other golf entertainment venues has exposed a new generation to the sport, bringing more juniors and women into the swing of things. With so many golfers ready to hit the greens, finding a place to play in Florida has become exceptionally challenging. The continued demand for Florida resort living is generating a surge of interest at private club communities across the state and creating long waitlists to match.
A timely addition to the Palm Beach area golf scene has just reopened the first of two championship courses. Tesoro Club, a picturesque golf club community on Florida’s Treasure Coast, is providing an exceptional option for avid golfers and beginners alike by offering a limited number of non-resident Memberships to this exceptional private club. Discover why the recently unveiled Tesoro Club has golfers excited for the future.

Two Championship Golf Courses Designed by Legends
Designed to the exacting standards of golf legends Arnold Palmer and Tom Watson, Tesoro Club’s two championship golf courses are spectacular and dramatic anchors to the community. The Palmer Course recently reopened, after an extensive 18-month renovation that improves both playability and scenic beauty. An official host to the PGA Tour’s 2007 Ginn Sur Mer Classic, the 7,333-yard, par-72 course has a high-shot value with challenging holes that require both club strength and accuracy. Nature is instrumental to the course’s design, and it’s common to spot native birds such as roseate spoonbills, and ibis, as well as turtles throughout the course. Tesoro Club’s golf experience, however, does not stop at the Palmer course. Tesoro Club’s second championship course, the Watson Course, renovations are planned for the future.
“Both the Palmer and Watson course are unique in their own ways, providing two different styles of Florida golf,” shared Head Golf Professional Matthew Doyle. “The Palmer course is spectacular, with waterways, wide open spaces, bunkering, and shots that take your breath away. On the other hand, the Watson course will wind through pine forests and natural wetlands and grasslands to provide a completely different golf experience that you don’t often see in Florida.”
