Brisk activity is underway at Tesoro Club, as its new development team prepares for a season of openings. This summer, one of the first exciting announcements will be the reopening of Tesoro Club’s Swim & Racquet Club. Resident Members and a limited number of outside social Members will be among the first to enjoy a day of family fun at this lakeside pool and sports retreat. The Club’s new General Manager, Marco Schlenz, is gearing up for the opening which will be the first of many exciting plans set to unfold at Tesoro Club over the coming months.

“Everyone is excited to see the Swim & Racquet Club reopen,” said Schlenz. Chef Retting’s casual dining menu offers something for everyone, making the Club a great place to connect with friends and neighbors. We look forward to seeing our Members enjoy this beautiful facility very soon.

Casual Poolside Dining & Cocktails

Along with the announcement of the reopening of the Swim & Racquet Club, Marco Schlenz and his team have also announced Guy Rettig as the Club’s new Executive Chef. With 25 years of experience in top-rated golf and yachting communities, Executive Chef Guy Rettig has prepared a casual menu for the outdoor dining venue. A full-service bar in the covered patio area will provide libations and refreshments as well.

“With a big focus on outdoor dining at the Swim & Racquet Club, we wanted to curate items that can easily be taken poolside,” said Executive Chef Guy Rettig. “From juicy burgers and sandwiches to fresh seafood and salads, we look forward to having options for even the pickiest member of the family.”

Tennis and Pickleball Courts

When it’s time to hit the courts, a full racquet facility at Swim & Racquet Club is the place to be. Avid tennis buffs of all ages will enjoy play on 9 Har-Tru tennis courts. For those jumping into the pickleball craze, eleven pickleball courts are currently under construction, along with two bocce ball lawns. Tesoro Club is also staying ahead of country club trends with their tentative plan to include a padel court. This rising international sport from Europe combines the elements of tennis, squash, and badminton in a court that’s a quarter of the size of a tennis court. A fully equipped Racquet Pro Shop will ensure members look and play their best, with a wide selection of tennis and pickleball equipment and apparel, as well as racquet stringing and repair services.
